Join Birds Canada's annual Fraser Estuary KBA Count and help us track bird populations in the area.

Location: All across the Fraser Estuary KBA
Date and Time: Sunday, November 15, 2026 (all day, from dawn to dusk)
Description: Join our annual Bird Count in one of the most important Key Biodiversity Areas in BC and Canada! Register to one of the count zones with your team, similar to a Christmas Bird Count, and count wintering waterbirds and raptors within your assigned count zone! A social gathering will be organized at sunset, and available to all volunteers and surveyors who participated that day.
Experience level: Suitable for birders with some experience who can identify common local waterbirds and raptors, though extra eyes and helpers are always welcome.
