MarshWatch is suitable for participants of all skill levels and abilities. All are welcome! Webinars and self-guided activities slowly build your identification skills without getting overwhelmed. The ultimate goal is to give you the skills to confidently submit a checklist of birds from visits to wetlands of your choosing. The species covered are found across Prairie Canada. There is much overlap with other regions in Canada, and participants have tuned in from across North America in years past.

Live webinars take place at 7 PM every Wednesday evening, starting March 4 and run for 10 weeks, ending May 6. Each webinar is recorded and posted online by the following Friday, so you can always catch up or review content.

MarshWatch helps you build identification skills and submit your observations without the pressure of a formal survey. We hope you join us! More information can be found at: https://www.birdscanada.org/bird-science/marshwatch
