Join our community of over 71,000 Citizen Scientists and develop your knowledge of birds and habitats by joining one of our many volunteer bird monitoring programs, which helps us better understand bird population health in Canada. There are also stewardship opportunities available, such as becoming an Important Bird and Biodiversity Area/ Key Biodiversity Area Caretaker, a Piping Plover Volunteer on beaches in the Great Lakes or the Maritimes, or a SwiftWatch Volunteer in eastern Canada.
