Imalirijiit is a collaborative environmental monitoring project between the Kangiqsualujjuaq Inuit community and scientists from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. By participating in the land camp, we helped train youth, shared expertise in bird and ecosystem monitoring, and supported the community in tracking river health amid mining impacts, strengthening science and local stewardship.
