Loons and YOUR Lake

May 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Kathy Jones, Canadian Lakes Loon Survey Volunteer Manager & Biologist, and Olivia Carvalho, Urban Outreach & Events Coordinator, for an interactive webinar about Common Loons, including how they are doing in Canada and the positive actions that YOU can take to help them – even while you are in the city.

Designed for both bird enthusiasts and those who enjoy our waterways, this webinar will be great for birders, volunteers, loon lovers, and lake enthusiasts alike. It will include a summary of the science, stewardship tips, and information on the Canadian Lakes Loon Survey.

This webinar is a great way to learn how to help these fascinating birds by naturalizing your shoreline and by keeping your lake clean and healthy, as well as learn a little more about participating in the loon survey.

We will begin with a 30-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute Q & A, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get answers.
