Conservation Film Night: A Priority Place

November 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
EST
Photo: Gregg McLachlan

A Priority Place is a compelling documentary masterfully filmed by Gregg McLachlan and WorkCabin Films. A number of years ago, our region was picked as the 1st Priority Place in Ontario for support under the Pan-Canadian Approach to Transforming Species at Risk Conservation. A full-length documentary film, A Priority Place, showcases the resulting conservation and public education work, and honours the unique and cherished area we call home. The film delves into the intricate tapestry of life in this locale, capturing the essence of a community where work, leisure, family life and vacations intertwine and showcasing the natural beauty, cultural richness and vibrant spirit of the are. A Priority Place serves as a visual ode to the region.

Doors open at 6 pm. Cash bar. Free parking. Accessible event. All proceeds benefit Birds Canada. Thank you for your support.
