You’re invited to join some of Bird Studies Canada’s experts in Vancouver, BC; Toronto, ON; or Sackville, NB for a fun day of birding for conservation!
Bird Studies Canada staff in three locations across Canada hope you can join them for their Birdathon day this May. Whether you are new to birding or an experienced Birdathoner, and whatever your age, we would love for you to join us in person for a bird walk near you. You’ll even get an exclusive Great Canadian Birdathon t-shirt when you sign up. 5 May 2019. Vancouver, BC. Join Bird Studies Canada’s Director of BC Programs, Dr. David Bradley; local go-to authority on birds, Dr. Rob Butler; AND Thor Diakow, keen birder and host of Vancouver’s Breakfast Television, for a day of birding in and around Vancouver’s Jericho Park, Stanley Park, and Trout Lake Park. The itinerary for the day includes birding at: Jericho Park from 8 – 10 a.m., Stanley Park from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., and Trout Lake Park from 2 – 4 p.m.
14 May 2019. Toronto, ON. Join Bird Studies Canada’s President, Steven Price, and Ontario Urban Program Coordinator, Andrés Jiménez, for an afternoon bird walk around the beautiful Evergreen Brickworks. To join the Toronto team (“Bird Studies Canada’s Toronto Birdathon”), visit their team page.
31 May 2019. Sackville, NB. Join Dr. Laura Tranquilla, Bird Studies Canada’s Atlantic Region Director, and other Atlantic Canada staff in their Birdathon around the Sackville area.
