Samuel Perfect

LPBO Program Coordinator

Having been rather nomadic over the years, being from the UK, and graduating with a BSc in Environmental Science, I began a career working at European bird observatories. This has given me the chance to engage with a variety of bird species ranging from passerines to seabirds (secretly using the opportunity to see as many Lepidoptera as possible …shhh). My career then took me to Canada where I landed at LPBO. Here, the learning never ends when surrounded by the talented folks at Birds Canada. Inspired by the wild landscape that is Long Point I find it a privilege to participate in the array of research topics which shed light on the human influences on the natural world. I am based at The Tip for most of the year where you can find me working with a dedicated team of volunteers. I am always happy to foster interest so please pay us a visit at LPBO!
