Birds of the World – High Resolution Ornithology Lead

I’ve been exploring the natural world since I could walk, and from the day I opened my first field guide my life has been all about birds. Today, the only thing I love more than studying birds is sharing this passion with others; inspiring people to ask questions about nature and empowering them to seek answers. I work jointly with Birds Canada and the Birds of the World team at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, where I am reimagining the ways we can bring together the kinds of data we collect from birds in the hand to generate new insights and advance research to fuel effective conservation efforts. I am based near Long Point, Ontario, where I spend much of my free time chasing and studying hawks, and working with the Red-tailed Hawk Project.
