Lindsay Lalach

BC Species at Risk Biologist

Growing up in the Southern Interior of BC I developed a deep appreciation of the unique biodiversity and wildlife within British Columbia and learned about the various pressures that impact sensitive species and ecosystems. This led me to an Environmental Studies and Geography degree and since then I have worked in various biology and conservation focused roles. My interest in birds began in university and developed further after spending a summer working for Birds Canada on the Important Bird and Key Biodiversity Areas program. I have always taken interest in Species at Risk and I am excited to be working with a driven and dedicated team supporting the conservation of birds across Canada.
