I first got to know my chickadees and cardinals as a kid watching my family’s feeder in Ottawa. Pursuing opportunities in wild bird rescue and rehabilitation and environmental education galvanized my interest, and sparked my passion for introducing more people to the world of birds. I went on to earn a B.Sc. Biological Science and a Graduate Diploma in Science Communication. In my role at Birds Canada, I share stories of amazing people taking action to help birds and important news about bird research and conservation. It’s incredible to work with a dedicated team of staff and supporters, united by our love of birds and drive to conserve them.
