Bird Studies Canada’s Schoolyard Bird Blitz is an annual bird count taking place in schoolyards each May. Students across Canada explore their schoolyard, identify and count their local birds, and share their findings. Their observations help scientists monitor Canada’s birds!
Thank you to all who participated in the 2019 Schoolyard Bird Blitz. Thanks also to The W. Garfield Weston Foundation for nurturing young people’s interest in birds through their generous support for this program.
