15 – 16 June 2019. Wasaga Beach, ON. The Piping Plovers are back for another nesting season! Celebrate this loveable Endangered species with family-friendly activities at Ploverpalooza, hosted by the Friends of Nancy Island & Wasaga Beach Park.

7 June 2019. Vancouver, BC. Learn about Bird Studies Canada’s coastal Citizen Science programs and see captivating exhibits like a huge outdoor aquarium! Join staff from Bird Studies Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and the Vancouver Aquarium for a World Oceans Day celebration at 401 Burrard Street from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

31 May 2019. Sackville, NB. Join Bird Studies Canada’s Atlantic Canada staff for their Great Canadian Birdathon around the Sackville area. Enjoy a fun day of birding while supporting bird conservation. Birding beginners welcome!

11 – 25 May 2019. Toronto, ON. Each year, the city becomes a mega bird-highway much busier, healthier, and more colourful than the 401. Celebrate birds in the city at the Toronto Bird Celebration.

11 – 17 May 2019. Vancouver, BC. From bird nerd to bird curious, from wise old owl to adventurous tot, there is an event for everyone during Vancouver Bird Week.

11 May 2019. Don’t miss World Migratory Bird Day! Bird Studies Canada and Nature Canada hope you will join us in celebrating bird migration at a Bird Day event near you.
