Bird Studies Canada: Bird Studies Canada (BSC) is Canada's national bird conservation organization. Its mission is to advance the understanding, appreciation and conservation of wild birds and their habitats through studies that engage the skills, enthusiasm and support of volunteers, members, staff and the interested public. BSC conducts a wide range of local, regional, national and international programs, dependant upon the active involvement of thousands of volunteer "Citizen Scientists", guided by a small group of professional scientists.


Canadian Wildlife Service: The Canadian Wildlife Service - Environment Canada is Canada's national wildlife agency, which handles wildlife matters that are the responsibility of the federal government. This includes the protection and management of migratory birds and nationally important wildlife habitat, endangered species, research on nationally important wildlife issues, control of international trade in endangered species, and international treaties.


Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources: In partnership with you, the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) manages and protects Ontario's natural resources for wise use across the province. Together we all contribute to the environmental, social and economic well-being of Ontario. Our combined efforts work toward meeting today's needs and at the same time ensuring that natural resources will be available for future generations.


U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ? Great Lakes National Program Office: The mission of the Environmental Protection Agency is to protect human health and the environment, and leads the United States' environmental science, research, education and assessment efforts. The U.S. EPA develops and enforces environmental laws and regulations, offers financial assistance to environmental programs, and studies current and future environmental problems, among many other functions. The Great Lakes National Program Office administers and coordinates activities related to research, assessment and monitoring of the Great Lakes and their associated habitats.


National Fish and Wildlife Foundation: The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) is a non-profit organization established by U.S. Congress to restore and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and habitats in the U.S. NFWF is dedicated to achieving maximum conservation impact by developing and applying best practices and innovative methods for measurable outcomes. Since its establishment, NFWF has awarded nearly 9,500 grants to over 3,000 organizations in the United States and abroad and leveraged ? with its partners ? more than $400 million in federal funds into over $1.3 billion for conservation.
