BC YK Owl Data

Submit your Data

Each spring volunteers across British Columbia and the Yukon venture out at dusk to survey owls along roadside routes.

Participants in this program collect valuable information on a group of species that is not well monitored by traditional programs such as the Breeding Bird Survey. Data are used to monitor the distribution, abundance, population trends and habitat associations of different owl species.
