All of the information that you provide to us is used to process your order or used to communicate with you in the event of a question or problem concerning your order, shipping or billing information. We use the latest secure socket layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt all sensitive credit card and personal information. We have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information that is under our control.

All prices are in Canadian dollars.
No sales tax is charged.
BSC ships all items by Canada Post. We ship items within 2-3 days of receiving the order. If we are out of stock, we will call or e-mail to let you know. Our preference is to ship complete orders, which reduces shipping costs. If you would like to receive a partial order, please be aware that shipping charges will apply on both shipments. (As a non-profit organization, we cannot afford to mail the order without charging for shipping. Thank you for understanding.)
Orders to the United States and international locations will be shipped as one package. This means that the order will only be shipped when all items are available.
BSC Shop automatically calculates the shipping charges.
Cancelling an order
Please send us an e-mail at
BSCsales@birdscanada.org asking us to cancel your order. Please include your name, shipping/billing addresses, phone number (including area code) and what you ordered. You can also call us at 519-586-3531 or 888-448-2473 from 9 am - 5 pm (Eastern time) with this information.
Bird Studies Canada (BSC) would like you to be satisfied with your purchases. Refunds are accepted within 30 days of purchase. If an item arrives damaged, please return it immediately so we can replace it.
All items must be returned with the original invoice and in the condition in which you received it. We will accept any book in its original condition and any unopened CD. Please let us know why you are returning the item.
Ship merchandise (freight paid, sorry no CODs) to:

BSC is not responsible for any damage that may occur when you return your order. You may wish to send your return by insured parcel post or use a courier company.
Unless we made an error in order processing or shipping, we will not refund return shipping charges.
When we have received the merchandise, all refunds will be credited to the credit card used to purchase them. We will process your return as quickly as possible and confirm the refund by E-mail.
